🏆 Pro Guides & Advanced Tips
Elevate your gameplay with these advanced strategies used by professional Halo players and content creators. These tips apply to both Halo Infinite campaign and competitive multiplayer.
Movement Mastery
Slide Cancelling
Press crouch while sprinting, then immediately jump to maintain momentum. This technique allows you to move faster while making yourself a harder target to hit.
Clamber Cancelling
When climbing a ledge, melee or switch weapons to cancel the animation and recover faster. This can save crucial milliseconds in gunfights.
Map-Specific Jump Routes
Each map has specific jump spots that bypass normal routes. On "Recharge," you can jump from top mid to OS (Overshield) platform without using stairs.
Weapon Combos & Tech
Noob Combo 2.0
Plasma Pistol overcharge + Precision weapon headshot. The plasma shot removes shields, allowing for an instant kill with any precision weapon.
Quick Scoping
With the S7 Sniper, zoom in for just one frame before firing. This eliminates scope glare while maintaining accuracy, perfect for medium-range engagements.
Equipment Combos
Drop a Drop Wall, then immediately throw a grenade over it. The grenade will explode as enemies push through the wall, dealing massive damage.

The campaign was a return to form for Halo. The open world worked better than I expected, and the story actually made me care about the characters again. Multiplayer had a rocky start but has improved dramatically. Forge mode is incredible - some of the community maps are better than the official ones!

As a competitive player, I appreciate the work done on weapon balancing. The ranked system is much better now, but the population is getting low at higher levels. Matchmaking times in Onyx can be 10+ minutes. Still, the core gameplay is solid Halo, and that's what matters most.

Season 5 is the best Halo Infinite has ever been. The new maps are fantastic, and the weapon balancing finally feels perfect. The Quantum Translocator adds a whole new layer to competitive play. My only complaint is that this is the final major update - I wish 343 would continue adding content!
